How to Use Your Essential Oils to Get to Sleep

Aromatic

Choose your essential oils place drops in and aromatherapy diffuser to circulate and create a calm and peaceful environment, whilst purifying the air as you sleep

Topical

Use chosen drops of essential oil diluted with the carrier oil of your choice and massage into bottom of the feet, wrists and across forehead.

Bath

Add a few drops of calming essential oils to 1 cup of epsom salts and dissolve into a warm bath.

Extra Tips for a Good Nights Sleep

Diet and lifestyle

Eat a healthy diet and try to refrain from eating too close to bedtime, especially processed, high sugar foods. Try snacking on a handful of nuts - these little power houses provide protein and fat and are rich in magnesium, a mineral that helps to calm the nervous system.

Reduce you intake of caffeine and alcohol.

Routine

Get into a rhythm and go to bed at the same time each night.

Wind down

Allow your body time to wind down and shift into “sleep mode”.

Diffuse essential oils before bed

Use calming essential oils like chamomile, jasmine and ylang ylang before bed to prepare your body for sleep.

Essential Oils Blends for Sleep

Quiet minds aromatherapy diffuser blend

  • 6 drops - vetiver essential oil

  • 4 drops - cedarwood essential oil

  • 3 drops - lavender essential oil

Soothing sleep essential oil roller bottle blend

In a 10ml roller combine the following essential oils and top the blend off with the carrier oil of your choice.

  • 20 drops - lavender essential oil

  • 15 drops - vetiver essential oil

  • 10 drops - frankincense essential oil

  • 5 drops - ylang ylang essential oil

  • 5 drops - chamomile essential oil

Massage into soles of feet paying particular attention to the under side of the big toe area, across forehead & on wrists
