Essential Oil Recipe to Experience Peace Through Meditation

In my own Meditation practice I find myself needing to put calmness at the centre of my inward focus.  As a very tightly wound person, I spend most of my life planning, worrying, & making lists.  While I appreciate the organised nature of habitual list-writing, I struggle with stress & worry.

How To Meditate With Essential Oils

When I first began Meditating, it was a desire to relax & let go of stress that lead me to try meditation.  Allowing myself to live under constant Stress had taken its tole on me physically, & I found myself exhausted by all the nightmare daydreaming I was doing by constantly worrying about possible scenarios, or situations out of my control.

It has been nearly 7 years since I first took up Meditation.  The relationship I have with my practice is much different from what it was when I so tentatively began this journey.  Today, I make time for myself to Meditate twice per day.  I have my own space set up where I feel completely comfortable.

Most days, as I am Meditating, I find myself focusing on serene peace, % freedom from my worries.  I'm no longer uncertain in my practice, but rather, I crave this time to concentrate on accepting & relishing myself both inwardly & outwardly.  This allows me to let go of worry and stress.

Essential Oil Meditation Recipe for Peace

To assist in sinking into a deep meditative state in which I am able to descend into tranquility, I like to diffuse gentle & calming Essential Oils.  What follows is my favourite Meditation Essential Oil recipe for achieving peace.

Please note, the following recipe should be mixed into an amber bottle & stored in a dark place at room temperature.  Unlike most of our Essential Oil recipes, these quantities are not meant to be blended directly into your diffuser.

  • 18 drops - Lavender Essential Oil
  • 15 drops - Ho Wood Essential Oil
  • 12 drops - Roman Chamomile Essential Oil
  • 12 drops - Geranium Essential Oil
  • 10 drops - Clary Sage Essential Oil
  • 10 drops - Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
  • 4 drops - Marjoram Essential Oil

Try diffusing this blend, 7-10 drops at a time, during your Meditation.  When you find your mind wandering, or worrying, concentrate on your breathing, & inhale this peaceful blend.
