Essential Oils for Concentration

With all of the noise of life, finding a quiet moment for yourself can be nearly impossible.  Even in a quiet space, the internet, or a good book, can pose a serious distraction. When you are finding it hard to concentrate on the things that you need to get done, there are a number of Essential Oils that will help improve your concentration.  

One of the most potent oils that helps with focus & concentration is Rosemary Essential Oil. Using Rosemary Essential Oil in a diffuser while you are working or studying improves focus & concentration so you can keep your nose to the grindstone. Additionally, inhaling Rosemary will help with your memory. If you don't have a diffuser at home, try putting 1-2 drops of Essential Oil on your finger tips & then massage it into your temples.

Rosemary Essential Oil blends really well with a lot of other Essential Oils. When using a diffuser to diffuse Essential Oils to help you concentrate, try blending a few drops of a citrus Essential Oil like orange, grapefruit or lime with rosemary. Citrus Essential Oils are great mood enhancing oils & also help to restore mental alertness to keep you awake on those late-night cram sessions.  

Another great oil to blend rosemary with is peppermint or Spearmint Essential Oils.  Both of these oils are stimulating oils & will keep you awake & aware while you work. Cypress Essential Oil's woody scent is another oil that is great for concentration.  

Essential Oil Concentration Recipe

  • 4 drops - Cypress Essential Oil
  • 3 drops - Rosemary Essential Oil
  • 1 drop - Peppermint Essential Oil

This powerful combination with help you focus, remain alert, & improve memory retention.  Try diffuse it while you work or study.
